SUSSEX LODGE NO 17 OPEN DAY

On Saturday 16th August a very successful open day was held. The Lodge was pleased to  receive Councillor Carla Butler, Chair of Lewes Council and many other visitors. They were welcomed into the Lodge by the Worshipful Master, Sue James. Wor Bro Maxine Besser, Secretary gave a short talk about the officers of the lodge who introduced themselves and this was followed by a talk about the furnishings of the lodge. Very Wor Bro Christine Chapman, Treasurer then gave a talk on the history of women's freemasory. Wor Bro Sue James, Wor Master then concluded proceedings with a short history of Sussex Lodge no 17.
