Future Happenings

July 2014

 - 20th July - HFAF will be present at the Province of Middlesex Annual Fete at the Royal Masonic Girls School in Rickmansworth. 

August 2014

- Consecration of Lodge Wisdom No. 55

September 2014

- Alpha Lodge No. 54 will hold its Installation Meeting in Bucharest for the first time and a Romanian Brother will become the 4th Worshipful Master.

- The Grand Master will visit Costa Blanca Lodge of Tranquility No. 52 in Spain for their Installation Meeting.

October 2014

- HFAF will be represented at the University of Surrey, Freshers Week.

- the Grand Master will visit the Provincial Lodges 


The News for 2014 to date



On 30th January the Most Worshipful Bro Christine Chapman was Enthroned as Grand Master in an impressive and moving ceremony at the Marriott Hotel in Swiss Cottage. 

March 2014

The Grand Master spoke to  the Metropolitan Grand Inspectors Annual Dinner about Women's Freemasonry, at the invitation of Ian Currans, Assistant Grand Master, Metropolitan Grand Lodge.

April 2014

- The Grand Master, accompanied by the Deputy and Assistant Grand Masters and several members of HFAF visited the Isle of Man for their Spring Festival. As always our hosts were extremely hospitable and we are grateful to Right Wor. Bro. Irene Bridson, Grand Custodian for arranging the visit. 

 - The Grand Master was thrilled to visit Singapore, at the invitation of Mount Faber Lodge, SC to talk about Women's Freemasonry.

June 2014

- The Grand Master accompanied by two Past Grand Masters and the Deputy Grandmaster visited our Lodges in Calhonda and Gibraltar for their Installation meetings. 2014 marks the 25th Anniversary of Gibraltar Lodge.




The Board of General Purposes has agreed to consecrate a new Lodge to be connected to Brunel University.


The Grand Master's annual visit to the Provincial Lodges in Blackpool and Morecambe was greatly enjoyed by all who accompanied the Grand Master on her travels; it being another opportunity to make new friendships and renew old ones. 

July and August

The annual Summer Lodges of Instruction at HQ were held throughout this period culminating in the Preceptors' Dinner on the last day.


The HFAF were present at the Province of Middlessex's Annual Summer Fete at the Royal Masonic Girls School at Rickmansworth and received a very warm welcome from the Pro Provincial Grand Master, Roger Croome.

Unfortunately the HFAF weren't able to be present at the RMBI Fete at Stisted Court, Braintree on the same day, as our invitation was withdrawn. 


The Centenary celebrations to mark 100 years of the HFAF took place at the Grand Temple, Freemasons' Hall, Gt. Queen Street, London on Sunday 30th June. 

Women in Blue, the history of the HFAF, written by Christine Chapman, Assistant Grand Master was published. 

Regency/Fidelity Lodge attended a Fete at Warlingham, Surrey to promote Women's Freemasonry.

The Most Worshipful Grand Master, Bernice Abram accompanied by the Deputy and Assistant Grand Master visited the Isle of Man for their annual Spring Festival.
