News2013April The Most Worshipful Grand Master, Bernice Abram accompanied by the Deputy and Assistant Grand Master will be visiting the Isle of Man for their annual Spring Festival. July The HFAF will be present at the Province of Middlessex's Annual Summer Fete at the Royal Masonic Girls School at Rickmansworth. 2012October The Most Worshipful Grand Master, Bernice Abram visited the Provincial Brethren in the North. During the trip we visited a Craft Lodge, a Royal Arch Chapter and a Royal Ark Mariners Lodge. July and August The annual Summer Lodges of Instruction at HQ were held throughout this period culminating in the Preceptors' Dinner on the last day. April The Most Worshipful Grand Master, Bernice Abram made her annual visit to the Isle of Man brethren, for their Spring Festival. February The Right Worshipful Deputy Grand Master, Margaret Clarke set up a panel of speakers to talk to Women's Groups and other interested organisations about Women's Freemasonry and the HFAF. Anyone requiring a speaker should contact her via the Grand Secretary's office. A Mentoring Scheme was introduced under the superintendence of the Right Worshipful Assistant Grand Master, Christine Chapman. Following the successful launch of a Lodge in Romania, we are now setting our sights further afield to India, where there is much interest. One candidate has already joined one of our Lodges and from that small step we hope to establish a Lodge in Delhi. Plans continue to be made for our Centenary celebrations in June 2013.
2011September Alpha Lodge No. 54 was consecrated by the Most Worshipful Grand Master Bernice Abram on Thursday 1st September in a beautiful and impressive ceremony. Right Worshipful Bro. Christine Chapman was Installed as the first Worshipful Master. This new lodge will meet in Bucharest, Romania and in London at our HQ. Our Romanian brethren are eagerly awaiting their first meeting in December, which will be in Bucharest. Bond of Friendship Lodge No. 48 relocated from England to Scotland by moving from Carlisle to Gretna. October Doric Lodge No. 11 celebrated it's 75th birthday with a special meeting. A new Master's collar was commissioned to bear the names of all the Past Masters. December Alpha Lodge No. 54 held its first meeting in Bucharest, Romania. See our scrapbook from the trip.
