News2010January 9th - Open day and Coffee Morning in Eastbourne for Sussex Lodge no 17. Contact sussexlodge@hfaf.org if you would like further details. 28th - Enthronement of our new Grand Master. We hope to have lots of photos from the day on the website 2009 November A very successful Open Day was held on 22nd November Twelve of our Romanian Initiates were passed to the Second Degree at a meeting of Ambassadors Lodge no 13 on 26th November 2009 October On 15th October the results of the ballot for our next Grand Master were declared at the Quarterly Communications of Grand Lodge. RW Bro Bernice Abram, AGM was the succesful candidate and will be Enthroned on 28 January 2010. Another eight candidates from Romania were Initiated into Ambassadors Lodge no 13 on 1st October 2009 June Six candidates from Romania were Initiated at a meeting of Ambassadors Lodge no.13 on June 2nd.More are to follow and it is hoped to eventually consecrate a lodge which will meet in Bucharest, Romania. May The two candidates for the ballot for the Grand Mastership are R W Bro Bernice Abram, AGM and RW Bro Margaret Clarke, SGW. The result of the ballot will be announced at the Quarterly Communications of Grand Lodge in October.The Enthronement ceremony of the new Grand Master will be on January 28th 2010. March The Memorial Service for the late Deputy Grand Master Denise Granatt and Past Grand Master Suzanne Berman was held on 16th March. It was a very sad day for all concerned but their lives and actions were remembered with gratitude by the members of HFAF February The Chapter of the Holy Sepulchre no 6 was consecrated on February 19th by the MW Grand Master Sheila Norden. This Chapter meets at Rochford, Essex.The first Principal of the Chapter is V W Bro Liz Saunders After the completion of the building work the Temple at 402 was consecrated on February 5th by the MW Grand Master Sheila Norden and the newly re-furbished dining-room was renamed the Corinthian Dining Room in recognition of the generous donation received from Corinthian Lodge no. 8.
