HFAF OPEN DAY
and XMAS BAZAAR
On Sunday 22nd November 2009 at
12 noon we opened our doors to the public. We were pleasantly surpised at the
turnout and many people came along to view our Temple.
There were short talks about our history and an explanation of the workings
of a masonic lodge.Bob Morrow from UGLE also gave a very informative and
interesting talk about Freemasonry. There were displays about the work of our charity and photos from our 96 year history.
Our
members were delighted to answer questions about HFAF and women's freemasonry and what it
meant to them.
Refreshments were available for purchase in our special HFAF
CAFÉ
The stalls selling Xmas goods and a special raffle
enabled us to raise nearly £2000 for the
continuance of our Fraternity and those charities supported by our own HFAF
charity.
