The New Blue Association

This is the fund-raising arm of our fraternity and it is ably chaired by Bro Hedy Babani and her enthusiastic team of helpers.

In the past they have successfully raised many thousands of pounds towards the purchase of our new HQ and also made substantial donations to our HFAF Charity.

Of course the fund-raising work continues without cease as we are currently considering the expansion of our HQ.

The NBA regularly organises theatre events, bridge nights, weekends away and a Bazaar. Once every two years they run a 500 club which sells tickets for monthly draws and an annual draw with a 1st prize of £500, hence the name.  In alternate years they also run a National Raffle. So they are always busy and in future we shall include information on forthcoming fund-raising events.

2010

13TH JUNE

The National Raffle was drawn by our Grand Master, Bro Bernice Abram at a special lunch at our HQ.  As part of the day's events we also had a demonstration of Indian cookery by Bro Jyoti Patel and everyone enjoyed a tasty lunch of  Indian dishes. This was followed by a sari show. Bro Bharti Patel demonstrated how to wear a sari and also explained about the different types of saris which can be worn. Our thanks to our Indian brethren for organising this special day. 

The raffle raised in excess of £3000 and the lunch £1400 for our HFAF Charity and our Building Fund for the continuance of our Fraternity.

28TH NOVEMBER

Open Day and Xmas Bazaar - Once again the doors to our Headquarters will be opened to all visitors interested in learning more about Women's Freemasonry and the HFAF.
